2017 Harvest 10

Howdy folks and welcome to week 10 of your CSA share. Things are really heating up out in the fields and the summer crops are cranking. We're in desperate need of some rain but it's not looking like that will happen for a loooooong time. So for now we're spending more time than we'd like moving irrigation lines. Luckily we've got a good supply of water thanks to the wet winter so we don't have to worry about a water shortage this year.

This week we're happy to have blueberries be a part of your share. We've partnered for a second year in a row with our awesome CSA members Courtney and Jason who live just up the road from us and we're picking their organic berries for you all. They're sweet and delicious and we hope you all love them as much as we do.

This coming week we're going to start pulling our storage onions out of the ground and begin curing them in the barn. They're looking good this year so we're hoping for an abundant harvest (fingers crossed!) We've had a few tomatoes ripen for us and they taste amazing this year. They're still a few weeks away from really kicking into full production but they're a comin'!

Anyhow, we hope you all enjoy your veggies this week. The recipes below are pretty delicious and as always, taste best when enjoyed with good company. Cheers everyone!

Your farmers,
A & T
